Red Devil Families, Due to expected precipitation and temperatures near freezing, road conditions are likely to be icy. For the safety of our students and staff, school will be closed tomorrow, Wednesday, February 12, 2024. However, Parent-Teacher Conferences will still take place as scheduled tonight. This is our last built-in weather day for the school year. Moving forward, any additional weather-related closures will result in virtual learning days. Dear Prague Public Schools Community, We hope this message finds you well. We want to inform you that we will resume in-person classes tomorrow February 3rd. Please ensure your student is prepared to return to school as usual.

Dear Parents, We wanted to inform you that school will be in session tomorrow as usual, despite the ongoing boil order on the city’s water supply. To ensure everyone’s safety and comfort, we will have bottled water available for all students and staff. Students are also welcome to bring their own bottled water from home if they prefer. Teen Board is a statewide board open to high school students, grades 9-12 in the Fall of 2024. Teen Board offers unique opportunities for students to meet extraordinary Oklahomans while engaging in interview and resume skills, committee leadership, fundraising, financial literacy, and career development. Participants will stay in either residence halls. All will need their own transportation. The camp is geared to students who want to help their school and family become more prepared for emergency situations. Students will learn about emergency response skills. They will leave with the basic life skills needed to improve the safety and resilience in their homes and schools. All students must have a chaperone that will be attending the camp also. Reminder: We will have a Professional Day on Friday. Students will not be in session.

This is a reminder to all high school parents that we will have Parent/Teacher conferences this Thursday evening from 4-7 pm and again Friday morning from 8-11 am. Class scheduling for next school year began today and will continue tomorrow in all English classes. Students are provided a copy of their transcript and course selection form in these class meetings. Thursday evening from 5:30-6:30 Ms. Baker and Ms. Fleak will be in the student lounge to meet with and answer any questions students or parents may have about class selection for next school year.

Students in grades 9-12 as of December 19, 2024 are invited to apply to an Oklahoma Youth Leadership Forum. Student must reside in Oklahoma, have proper disability documentation (this includes, but not limited to, significant learning disabilities, intellectual disabilities/developmental disabilities, physical disabilities and mental health diagnosis. Students must be interested in working with others who have a disability and or be a sibling if they do not have a disability and demonstrate leadership potential in their school and community.
